ToolkitRC M8D is a very powerful two-channel charger without integrated power supply. The charger allows charging power up to 800W per channel and up to 1600W in synchronous mode. The M8D can charge Lithium batteries up to 8S. Setting of the charger is possible in the standard way via a roller or in front of a 3.5" touchscreen flip-up display with 320x480 pixel resolution. The ToolkitRC M8D also features a USB-C connector with up to 65W power. Efficient cooling is provided by two fans. The speed of the fans automatically adjusts to power and temperature.
A great feature of the M8D is the ability to log charging and discharging to SD card. The M8D supports discharge in Recycle mode, where the discharged battery is discharged back to the power source. This is especially useful when using a larger Liion battery or car battery as a voltage source. The M8D also allows the battery to be discharged in Destroy mode, where the damaged battery is completely discharged and is then ready to be safely disposed. The charger has XT60 output connectors so that standard Lipo batteries can be connected without the need for an adapter. The input connector is used XT90 due to the high power output.
