Runcam Split 4 is a hybrid camera that is used for both FPV and up to 4K recording. The Split 4 uses a Nano sized camera and a main board with a 25.5x25.5mm mounting holes. The camera is thus intended primarily for use on Whoops and Toothpicks. The camera can record up to 4K@30fps or 2.7K@60fps. Compared to other hybrid 4K cameras, the Split 4 uses only one chip. This results in a latency of around 55ms, but a significant weight reduction to just 10.2g. The camera has an integrated gyro, which makes it possible to stabilize the footage. The camera input voltage is 5-20V however the camera needs to be powered via a BEC. Voltage spikes on the main voltage can irreversibly destroy the camera.
