ELRS Bandit is an external 868/915MHz ELRS module for radios with JR and Lite shaft. ExpressLRS (ELRS for short) is an open source project and the transmit and receive modules are produced by multiple manufacturers. ELRS is currently one of the most advanced RC transmissions. It offers reliable link over long distance, high refresh rate, adjustable power, update via wifi, bluetooth connectivity and more. Bluetooth will be especially appreciated by fans of simulators, where you can connect to the PC wirelessly.
The main advantage of the Radiomaster Bandit is its robustness. The body is milled from a durable piece of aluminum that conducts heat well and protects the electronics. The Bandit supports 200Hz refresh rate and 1W output power. Another advantage is the OLED display and button. This makes the module easy to set up without the need for LUA scripts. There are also 2 adjustable buttons to make working with the module faster. Of course, the module is actively cooled. Bandit is in the base without an adapter to plug into the shaft. Two adapters are included - for the larger JR shaft and the smaller Lite shaft. Thanks to the OLED display and raised pins on the bottom of the module, the Bandit can also be used with radios without a shaft, such as some Spektrum, Futaba, Frsky or Flysky models with OpenTX. There is also a USB connector for easy updating and an XT30 connector for the ability to power the module externally.
There are also two antennas on the transmit module. An omni-directional T-antenna for normal flying and a directional Moxon antenna, for maximum range.
