AtomRC Flying Fish is a small airplane with a wingspan of 650mm. The airplane has two motors mounted on the wings, leaving the nose free to accommodate a nano-sized FPV camera. Compared to the single wing, the Flying Fish has steerable wings, elevator and rudder. The aircraft is made of EPP material. EPP material is very durable and can be easily glued together in case of damage. The recommended flight weight is 250 grams.
The aircraft is in PNP design - it has already installed motors, ESCs and servo. Building the airplane is thus very easy. You need to add a RC receiver and possibly FPV equipment. The receiver is placed in the center of the airplane under the wings. There is not much room in the center of the airplane and we would recommend installing the flight controller to the more experienced builders. The battery is located in the front of the airplane under a black EPP cover. The recommended battery is a 3S with a capacity of 550-750mAh. Flying Fish has designed air vents for active cooling of all electronics.
